Just finished the second of two interviews this week! Earlier in the week, I spoke with Kari of the Ottawa Transit Riders about advocating for better, more affordable, more accessible public transit in Ottawa (as well as the fiasco that has been the implementation of light rail in that city). Today, I talked to Simon of Labour Against the Arms Trade about organizing within Canada’s labour movement against the infamous deal providing light armoured vehicles to Saudi Arabia (which have likely been used in their brutal assault on Yemen) and against the arms industry more generally, and also *for* conversion to socially useful production.
